Who can enroll onto this course?
The Foundation course is suitable to anyone who has a valid GMC/NMC/GPhC/HCPC GDC (inc dental nurses) registration or NVQ Level 3 Beauty.
If you do not have the relevant registrations then please see our fast track course which is suitable for non-medics
Do you support students after the course?
Yes we believe it is just as important to support students before the course as well after. We have a dedicated whats app number which all students can message the academy for support and guidance, we aim to respond to all inquiries within 24 hours.
Furthermore we also own an aesthetics pharmacy (Estetica Pharmacy) and provide access to an in-house prescriber working exclusively with the academy, so our relationship with students is one of a partnership helping them throughout their aesthetics journeys
Can I start my own aesthetics business after this course?
Yes of course, providing you have obtained specific indemnity insurance (which is covered in training) you are able to start injecting your own clients and start your aesthetics businesses. Facial aesthetics has become very popular not only due to its demand but also due to how highly profitable it is for practitioners.
Where is this course held and whats your niche as an Academy?
This course is held in Central London, at our Wigmore street location as well as Burton upon Trent.
Our niche is our on-going aftercare support to students since we have a dedicated whats app number for any advise our students may need after the course when they're injecting their clients.
Furthermore we are one of a small handful of academies in the UK that own a training academy, a fully fledged aesthetics pharmacy and provide access to an in house Independent Prescriber for all our students needs.
Do students practice on live models?
Yes, all students practice on live models and will be injecting on both anti-wrinkle and fillers. Theory must be studied from home with a recommended 20 hours of pre reading.
How many hours of theory must I complete?
Theory must be studied from home with a recommended 20 hours of pre reading. We send all our students an extensive 217 page study manual to them to read and to refer to after the course.
This manual has everything you need to know regarding the Foundation course and additional information regarding business set up, pharmacy, insurance, it also covers critical information such as how to make complications and when and how to use your emergency drugs.
We also send all students videos of anti-wrinkle and dermal filler treatments for them to understand the dosages and injection points ,so that when they come to their practical day they're fully equipped to handle client/model expectations and start their journey to being a great injector.
Do I need to leave my current role?
No not at all, student can use aesthetics as an additional source of income doing it around their day jobs on evening/weekends. Nevertheless due to the demand in treatments many of our students have given up their day jobs to focus on Facial Aesthetics full time, giving them financial independence in doing what they want, when they want.
